If you compare apples to apples the Stryker RX overall is better than a magnum or connect etc.
 
No way is it better than Connex / Galaxy! Side by side with any galaxy i see less than a 1 S unit of noise. The stryker on the other hand has over 3 on a clear day. You guys can make all the excuses you want but facts are facts. They let this radio leave the factory with a problem that would have been impossible to miss and they did know about it. Why else would there a mod to fix it as soon as the first person complained?

....sound great...look great....but has so much noise in the receive they are worthless dx radios. I mean really. No matter the antenna, base or mobile the noise is still there and all of that power is worthless if you can understand anyone trying to get back to you!

For what ever reason a lot of people don't want to come out and say the truth about these things. But i guess if you have money to wast on a poor Galaxy copy then it would not really matter would it?

I myself hate wasting money!

And no i'm not trying to stir any pot here. Just stating the truth!
 
The RX sucks no matter how you slice it...King Mudduck hit the nail on the head....Doesn't matter how far it can talk and how pretty it is...It's as noisy as a Chinese Cobra 29...

I don't understand why people can't be honest....I see why people sell them...

Definitely an alligator radio :!:

Lets hope thier next line of radio(s) they can resolve this issue....

For real. If they fix this problem i will be the first guy in line to get one.
 
I meant to say connex in the other thread. Their is no problem with the rx no excuse made. It works just like what I would expect. I can take a Stryker and hear things that I can't with a Magnum S Series radio.
