MC, above theres 2 pictures of 2 different antennas. the new one has a black bushing, and the old one has a white bushing. whats the difference?

The V5000 has a white insulator and is better than the V58 with the black insulator as it can take more power.

However, the old antenna is using a hose clamp at the top of the base tube. Maco doesn't do this.

Other than the base section and insulator, there are NO DIFFERENCES between the V58 and the V5000.

thi is a new v5000 is tune well 1:1.1 where i want it. but can you see the problem ?

Seriously though......

Slot the tubing for the ground radials.
Turn the bolt around that holds on PO8P (which is upside down).
Smooth out the bends in the kopper wires.
No NOALOX between any of the joints.
Missing lock washer on tuning ring.
C01 clamp looks loose.

My maco 5/8 ring is put together oposite yours in pic, it work great but is yours wrong or mine? I need to look in my instructions.
