US WWDXers: Will you be getting a FM rig?

I've spent the last 30+ years trying to get CB sound good. And FM sounds great, right out of the box. AM...takes a lot to get to sound right
If it catches on,,I would love experiencing with FM processing to make it sound even better.
Also FM CB works exceptionally well while offloading. AM has too much ignition noise and squelch issues. Plus the range over hills is much better then VHF here.

Yea I think the biggest growth in CB lately was the jeep/offroading users. But that has been cut off with Midlands big push for GMRS and all the "race radios" being sold. Since that stuff is all FM it doesn't really matter that they are wiring the radio in to the noisy factory harness or cig lighter.
IMO Cobra/President/Uniden could make good inroads if they came out with a decent am/fm radio kit that was geared to offroad users.
