Sounded like McLaughlin/SAntana to me . . .
But how does it work on the air?
OK?
I shot some skip with it and a guy replied who said he was in california near the golden gate bridge and he said it sounded good.....the local cbers were not as positive....said it sounded no better than a d-104....and started putting it down.....another guy said don't listen to those guys it sounds good....a ham friend was listening and sent me an e-mail and said it sounded great.
Well, if the person on the other end has a receiver with a narrow rx bandwidth they probably can't tell the difference between lo-fi and a regular hand mic.
there is always going to be the "Buzz Kill" types who will find something to complain about, if it isnt a little music it will be because someone else's comment went against their politics or religion, some people just want absolute control over everyone and everything, and they will if you let them, so dont let them and keep doing what you think is right
freedom, if you dont use it you'll lose it, so keep using it
nice pic of the Caravanserai album cover....I used that album cover sooo many times years ago....good times, good times...That looks like a phantom powered tube mic..there's no astatic anywhere that will sound as pure.
1975 "Lenny White-Venusian Summer" Lenny White on drums and Ray Gomez and Larry Coryell on Guitars iirc.
Yeah....constructive criticism is one thing...hostile criticism is another.
i wont criticize, i been a shortwave listener for many years, so i am always on the hunt for something different or interesting to listen to, shortwave pirate radio is a favorite catch for listening, so if i heard some music on a CB frequency i would enjoy listening to it since it would be different other than the usual DX/Skip chatter that you hear everyday
