And for the record... the original meter did the same thing. I only replaced it cuz the original meter, someone glued in a replacement wheat lamp and the needle was hitting the glue gobs. Lucky it takes a Cobra 148 style meter and I have some in stock. Just swapped out the scale insert and painted the white needle with red Sharpie! LOL
Well, I finished one of 6 microphone restores today! Why do people pay you over $100 to do this I do like these mics but I would not personally pay that much but that is what they are willing to pay!! It is time-consuming and can be tedious. The +2 below is waiting on the new gain label and then it's done.
