fnkycoldmedina,
Don't read any further if you don't want your feelings hurt. Sorry.
This is a typical response from someone who just doesn't understand, or want to understand what's going on. That 'O'scope is the only way that you will be able to tell if a signal is not distorted unless it's distorted extremely badly. Human ears just are not 'calibrated' well enough to make that sort of distinction. It isn't intuitive.
A tiny bit of NPC isn't objectionable because you can't hear it. That doesn't mean that it isn't there, and isn't objectionable, only that you can't tell it. Why is it objectionable? Because it is inefficient. Simple as that. It's also an advertising ploy, which means not true, which alone is a very good reason not to do it, aside from it just being dumb. If that 'PPE' is what I think it is, Positive Peak Enhancement, it's just the other side of that NPC 'coin', it's still worthless.
None of this is new by any means. It's probably as old as 'AM' is. The sad part is that some people never learn. There's nothing 'new' with CB radios. It's just the same old stuff rolled in a different batter and fried the same old way. If you think it 'tastes' good, be my guest.
