Living in western pa. And only 65 miles away from bob's cb shop its a pleasure to have him in my back yard was up their Sunday to get my connex 3300 hp worked on, went over the radio and $49 later and in less than a hour I'm out the door..high power swings 69 and low power swings 46...radio sounds great,,if you ever met the man he might come off being a little hard to get along with or cold with conversation but going there for 15 years be has a lot of radio's to fix its amazing.. he doesn't accept mail in anymore he does so much warranty work that he only takes walk in work,, I definitely appreciate having one of the best in my back yard .....
MikesRadioRepair turnaround time for repairs has slowed down to a crawl. Previously his turnaround time was from a week or less to currently up to a month or more. Supposedly he's been swamped with radio repairs.
It's now 4 months and counting.
being a good repairer (with a good rep) and a youtube queen = slower turnaround
thats the trade off in becoming a internet queen
mike prob gets 100 emails or more a day ..x that by 5 mins each ..
only 1/5 of them will be people that actually are people wanting HIM to repair their radio
..the rest will be made up of guys wanting free repair info or to bitch about how some one else ripped them off
then the guys that go all the way to get prices and quotes and say yeap i am gonna send you my radio and nothing more from them (time wasters) which like it or not make up 50% of emails
every tech gets what i just said..good or bad
mike seems like a good guy we have spoken via email (he came to me) have seen his videos (man he rambles lol)
god i wish i had time to produce videos...but then who wants to listen to my voice ?(prob the very few that read my online rambles lol)

Mike used to be pretty fast but a 5 month and counting turnaround time is pretty damn slow.
I have been trying to contact Mike, his voice mail is full and cannot leave message,,no replies to email. Just wanted to make sure he is ok.
