All of the yuppie bastards in my family were too busy trying to climb a social ladder they had no business being on. I on the other hand went to work and crammed as much knowledge in my head as possible. I didn't climb the ladder the easy way, I worked my way up. And I earned the respect of my peers. Everyone automatically assumed I had an advanced college degree. My vocabulary and knowledge exceeded many of those in the department.
I had one clown who was brought into my company to discredit me.(A former partner) I used a word he did not understand and called bullshit on me in a meeting with a military customer. The military members were shocked at his behavior and we were on their base at the time. I called for a break to deal with this knucklehead. A Bird Colonel stayed behind to see how I going to deal with the situation. I did not notice that he was still in the room. I looked at Mr. Bullshit and told him he had two options. Apologize in front of everybody or pack his bags when we returned to the office. The Colonel said you should not give him the option to apologize. I jumped when he spoke because I did not know he was still there. I said well I did not have access to a firing squad. With a stone cold serious face he said I do.
I asked MR. BS if he wanted to apologize or just deal with it at the office. Bad mistake on his part. We had gone to the meeting in two vehicles I filled my car with trusted associates so he was forced to ride in other company. As soon as we got off the base I called the office with my Motorola bag phone and told them to have his final check and to pay him for two weeks vacation he had not earned. He was released from the company the minute he hit the door and was not allowed to enter. He started apologizing profusely and the people that were there told him "It's too late!" That was the one and only employee I ever had to fire. We would try people here or there to see where they could fit in.

Well I had an aging Dad next to me I didn't want to leave there, since my younger brother took him in I have no reason to stay around here anymore. My wife and her mother are not getting a long anymore, so her know it all younger brother can take care of her, we're tired of all the drama.
Change in plan we're going to look at the place tomorrow, instead of Monday.

Slow you might know where Quinton Oklahoma is, it's North east of Mcalester Ok about 30 miles and straight North of Wilburton about 27 miles. Pretty country or at least we think so.

Its always dead in this area, all the old timers I used to talk to have passed away, sure miss them old boys. They were always happy to shoot the bull, and had some good advice for anyone willing to listen, they always talked on ch 13 called it the family channel. I never met them in person and wished I had, I did make a point to meet one, he went by Pappy he was the last one standing, so I looked him up in the town over from me and had a nice little conversation, he was as nice in person as he was on the radio, he passed away not to long after that.

I had a heated argument with a daughter in law, (because of her mouth) and finally they went to live with her grandparents. But they want to sponge off me and my wife and not get their own place. And of course my wife takes up for them and makes me out to be the bad guy. Now we got another child that is getting divorced, and moving back home. And of course, he has no job!
