yaesu ft-891 and ATAS 120A

IIRC,HF Power was supposed to be labeled FM, and 50HF is for 6 meters.

Hard to believe but I did know 50HF meant 6 meters. (y)
Seems like a firmware update could add FM to clear things up.
One last question: what is IIRC?
 
K7LZR is coming out with a control program for the 891. Will be freeware. Fixes the USB/LSB selection difficulty.

I read the 891 has different CAT commands than the rest of the line. Seems like Omni-rig would have added it already though. Will have to check this software out. Thanks for the link!

I'm on the list too.

I really don't understand why the USB/LSB auto selection is an issue for most people.

The only time it is an issue is for the people (like me) that operate certain digital modes on 40 and below.

there is an EZ "workaround" tho.

The auto selection makes it wasy for me when changing bands while I am mobile. But I just play on phone...
