I spoke with Clay at Clays Radios and we came up with this combo. Thought i would see what ya'll thought. I am just gettin into side band and will use the standard cb channels too. It will be in my peterbilt with 2 k40 bcmax antennas. Wudda ya think?

I actually put a piece of Coca Cola box in the coil about 1/2 inch wide & 3 inchs long. I am not getting the antenna hot yet so not worried about any heat issues. Today i am gonna try to just turn it to same position as tbe other one

I have 2 k40 bcmax antennas on my peterbilt. One day i noticed a howl sound and a bad vibration in the drivers door. Turns out it was the air flow causing the coil to vibrate. Any ideas on how to stop it.

The antennas are great. One of the preditor mounts already stripped out though.

I got my k40 bcmax antennas and my mounts for my Peterbilt. I might have to mount them about 8 inchs inword on the mirror main support for support reasons. Is this gonna cause any issues.?
