Sams PhotoFacts Collection

Thank you sir, I am very grateful for your kindness.
I just put together the schematic of that Allied A-2530. Note: It looks like they came with Ch 11 Crystals. I think standard walkie talkie crystals will work on the other channels for transmit, but the receive crystal takes a 6 Mhz down from the fundamental. Example: 21.185MHz = Ch19. Unless you special ordered one, that would be a difficult crystal to find. Of course you can always use the tunable receive function in conjunction. That’s the beauty of many early CB’s.

I have two added two more Robyns to my Robyn collection. Anyone have the photo facts for model SX-401 and a GT-7C. I also added a Midland 77-888 convoy radio to my collection. If anyone has a copy they can share it would be greatly appreciated. As always thank you for keeping the hobby alive and helping me out with my personal collection of radios.
Hey Bobby, scanning info for people takes time. Some requests take over an hour to complete, scanning is time and labor intensive. I would appreciate it you would request just one radio a day. I have time to complete one request per day. So that being said, which one would you like first? I will get on it first thing in the morning... Dan

I would like to thank my colleagues who kindly provided me with a scan of the Allied A-2530 service manual. I would like to reciprocate by editing the file to make it aligned and clean. I also merged the schematic into a single file so that I can view it in a single image. Once again, my eternal gratitude to my noble colleagues.

I totally understand and wasn't rushing. I didn't know if someone already had an uploaded database already, this is why I posted the three at once. Noted for the future. Thank you for all your help.

I have the volume that covers the Robyn SX-401, but the only Robyn GT VII radio listed in the index is for the Robyn GT VIIB...Will start scanning the SX-401 first thing in the morning... Dan
Here you go Bobby...let me know if the robyn GT VIIB will work for you... Dan

The SX-401 utilizes the Motorola M6040A PLL, same chip as my favorite O2A PLL. I didn’t realize that until after I examined the schematic. If I run across a decent example in the future, I’ll possibly convert one to 10 meters or low channels. As such, I did a mild enhancement of the service manual, including a separate spliced schematic. Your providing us with original scans is greatly appreciated.
