I can't believe the price is $379.00 ... For a couple bucks more I would go with A Galaxy 95T or the Ranger 6900 (My personal Favorite) ... Atleast than you get SSB ... Fans too keep those Dual 2290'S cool... And if the Echo is anything like the 4300 than the Echo is definately smoother on the...
Well there goes the Imax 2000... Right into the toilet.
Time to switch back to Maco... I ain't seen a Barjan product yet that wasn't junk... Atleast none I've used.
Dosy is definately a nice Meter.... And a fine addition to any shack... Bout the only thing your going to get that's any better is a bird...
A dosy will definately give ya the numbers your looking for, Not guessing about!

Too bad the Tube days are gone... Alot of fun to be had with...

Here come to find out, I finally tore it apart and the driver tube was busted on top... So I swapped around a couple tubes...
Sure wish I had some more tube gear here in the shack... Man I miss those days.. Had alot of Ham gear at one time that was of the old Tube Variety... Cut my teeth on Hallicrafters and it went from there...
Stay with the 2950... Although I would definately dig that Mag S-9 out and play with it some... That's a fine radio once you get everything set-up on it!!
Thanks man.... Should be here by Noon today... I'm gonna run a 2 Watt DeadKey and a 10-12 Watt swing into it.. Should be fairly decent without popping a tube off the bat...
I know the guys around here are interested in seeing how it's gonna sound... The Tubes are alot better on the audio, too...
