10 GA AWG should be OK for a run ~10 ft.
My experience is that it will draw about 28 amps on 4, and just under 30 amps on 6.
2.5 watts DK swinging to ~10 (and you don't want to go over 12) will get you 185-200 watts using the #4 setting.
You don't want more that more than 10-12 watts SSB PEP either.
Usually a mobile install requires somewhere around 108 inches depending on the rig, placement and bonding. The extra length is usually provided by the spring.

What kind of truck?
My CB antenna works just fine mounted on the rear area (about 6 inches forward from the third brake light) of my full size quad cab Chevy pickup.
How hard are you driving that 4x1446 amp (and I guess what mode?)
I can use a MegaWatt S-400-12 (36 amps / 41 amp peak) to drive a 4x1446 AB biased amp to an output of 320 watts SSB before it starts to run out of juice.
