11 meter is very quiet?

Hooked up the 148 for a minute and made a few contacts before some db on am started bleeding 40 up and down.
I’m a dumbass and decided to stay at home and have a few beers.
So here I am...parked in the driveway with S5 or better QRM...instead of the preferred spot over the water where my TX and RX both come under a magnifying glass.
Anyway...had multiple spots I couldn’t hear for all the neighborhood QRM.
Somehow I still managed to work two stations in France. Happy with that!!

That's awesome. Best I've ever done was Jamaica (only once ever) and Canada. I've NEVER been able to hit TX or the West. All my contacts are East and up North ... and WA once or twice.... It's like from MS over has blocked my number or something....
Just great prop today. Pretty much the whole east coast, Florida to Canada, had some degree of propagation with Europe.
Flat out amazing that I could make any contacts where I was parked. The QRM in this neighborhood is just off the charts. Sounds like a 10 page fax is about to pop out at any moment.

Very possible. I did talk to a "Jerom"? in Biaritz France on 39 lsb this afternoon. I was using 2/NC/556. I've never been able to sign up and log back in on that website.

Also had QSO with 545 Hector in Panama Division 24 (I think it's 24) and lots of places North, South, West stateside USA. AnyTone-6666 was having a good day!
