11 meter is very quiet?

Getcha one for a backup

Pack everything into a Harb Frt Apache transport case (2800 thru 4800 series) with all that you need as spares, extras, etc to the main radio. Kl203 amp, small power supply, etc; whatever fits your idea of a go-anywhere radio of this sort.

There may be better, but anything with less performance is a waste of money.

Ok appreciate it I was just looking for a Ssb rig. I’ll go check out more forums bout them

I've been doing pretty good on my barefoot 29 lately. Talked to "Rusty Nails" way up north somewhere, was driving so i couldn't write it down. I've been making contact on every channel except 6,11,20, and 21.....I just don't have the watt dollars to play on those.
