Anytone at-5555n II (version 2)

I emailed the Amazon seller about the 11 meter mod for this new radio and got a reply this evening. They're telling me they can guide me to the mod but will need the programming cable..... Hmmmm. So this one may not have the wire on the board to snip like the strykers.
has white wire to nip and black plug to move from terminal 1&2 to 2&3 side by side on speaker side of board

OK men I had some time so I took the back off the radio here,s what I see . The board is completely different the 5555N is what you and I see for the mod OP1. The board for the 5555N2 is way different and I can not find OP1 anywhere . I say wait for the NEW MOD for the N2 come,s out I know that,s what I,m going to do .
Look for white wire beside a small black Plug. Move plug from terminal 1 & 2 to 2 & 3 and snip white wire. then use program software to change from 10 meter to CB band which opens all bands for you .I have one and it works great

what's wrong with the radios, so far mine kicks ass, shooting skip all over the world. No one said anything that my radio sounds bad, actually most people telling me that it sounds very good in SSB.
How,s the adjacent channel rejection ? . When I,m on 27.365 LBS I can hear 27.385 almost as good , and if some one is on USB i hear them to . The weather thing has to be on me . I will get it done , I just have five thumbs .

not sure if understand this right but I don't have any issues that if someone is 2 channels up I can here what they talking about. If station is close to me and they use more then 4W then I can here distortion like any regular CB radio. Now If I am on channel 36 USB and someone is talking in LSB I can here what they saying but with very distorted voice which is normal. If you u have youtube channel make video and post it, someone for sure will tell you if you have issue with radio or not.

Will programing cable work from older 5555 or at-6666? I just pulled the trigger on one of these from amazon but did not get programing cable.

I would think the 6666 or Stryker 955 cable would work. I have flip flopped cables between those two radios with no issues. The older 5555 cable basically plugs into the board so it wouldn't work. Just my humble observations!

Gotcha, I was thinking the 6666 might work. Thanks for your input,
Cheers.

Version version 1 cable doesn't work need version 2 cable , like stycker cable I been told. my radio came with cable but cable alone doesn't complete conversion. have to go into radio move jumper from 1&2 to 2& 3 and snip white wire, from anytone tec . this version cable plugs into back of case not inside like N version does

I take it this is the jumper and white wire to cut...then I need to use the software? what do I look for in software?
Cheers!
