Now that you found the perfect sock, maybe you could take the mic apart and put a small piece of sock in front of the element? Just curious, do you put your socks over your shoes? haha

I have heard of people stuffing the area around the element with pillow stuffing to take up the empty space inside the mic case to keep it from sounding hollow. Use another radio with out an antenna hooked up and headphones to see what you sound like.
Make sure it's a clean Sock ! Or you'll get rid of Pfff & end up with a Pew ! Ok I'm done now !

Good thing about a sock on a mic is if it gets dirty or drooled on things are still OK. There is another proven one just like it on standby.
Just be aware of the missing sock thing that happens when doing laundry.

Oh you can still hear the jingle... from all them bullets. The man does like bullets, lots of bullets.
Anyone run the Xtreme 2018 mic with there AT6666?? Anyone have a short audio clip for them paired up?

I'm sticking with the stock mic as well. Bought a second AT-6666 mic so I'd have a extra one.
