It's been pretty quiet up here in Central Pennsylvania this afternoon,a few faint stations in the background,but that's about it, maybe it'll pick up later this evening...........

Pretty good rain and who knows what coming down here in SW MO so if it passes I'll check it out
DX is dead here. Every once in a while someone is in the mud, but that's about it.
Mexico booming in here now. Little bit of the Gulf Coast of Texas and some Florida coming through as well..... not great conditions, but at least there's something going on !
Seems to always be dead in the morning these days, but around noon it picks up and skip stays in until late evening with Australia etc.

Good Morning Radio Friends, planning on being on the Air after 2pm on channel 38 and 40 LSB,as of 6:50 am as you can see above,it looks like the conditions might be promising to snag some DX contacts,but things can change and we shall see, have a great day today and wishing all the mother's out there a happy and Blessed Mother's Day, including my own Mom who went home to be with Jesus 4 years ago,Be thankful for the time that you have with your Parents, I know that I was and continue to be!!!73's
Indeed. I will likely miss out as I have pledged the day to my own mother for whatever she wants to do. Yesterday was nothing but static for me. Hope you all can find that DX!

Nothing doing out here..... and my prediction site says.. "Radio blackouts reaching the R3 level are expected".
I'm not expecting anything much in the way of radio conditions for the next week or ten days at least. Another CME is due to hit tomorrow and this one could be even stronger than the one that hit us on Friday.........
The sun is the most active it's been in almost 30 years right now and active sun generally equals poor DX.

Interesting.....I just got home with my Dad after having lunch with my kid's, decided to fire up the Ranger for a few minutes, absolutely quiet up here in Central Pennsylvania, nothing but static out there, might try again later this afternoon,I'm off to take my Sunday Nap!!
