With just slightly less than 60 years of life experience to draw upon, I would guess that this type of thing started long, long ago. Prior to Social Media, there were other ways to "tear a person down" to bolster ones own short comings.
This forum is my only social media participation.
I once thought about posting a Boob Tube video but hit myself in the forehead with a ball peen hammer instead and that notion passed with less long term irritation.

I wish Mike well, whatever the reason for his absence.
He put a lot of effort into the videos he did post. Lots of worthwhile information for free.
He deserves at least that much gratitude, even if he just said "chuck it" and went another way.

I have watched quite a few of Mike's videos. From viewing those I came to believe that Mike is an honest person and a class act! He has a lot of knowledge and a way of presenting his troubleshooting and repair skills that make it easy for a simpleton like me to understand. I also believe he was a brave person for making as many videos as he has in the last few years given that there is ALWAYS someone waiting to tear you down!
It doesn't seem to me that Mike would "stoop to airing dirty laundry" in such a public forum, but his presence here would be welcomed by me.

I can not say a bad thing about the man or his work. Hi is a top notch Tech. and I have learned a lot watching his videos. It sucks that there are a couple trolls out there that try to make everyone look like they do not know what they are doing.
In fact I used one of Mikes tricks today on a radio and it worked 100%
Oh I have a have a couple of dozen plus of YouTube videos and people poor mouth my vocal skills while they won’t make a video of their own and post them.I have been in a country music show with some of the biggest stars ever so I must have some descent vocal skills Even as a solo vocalist.You may search 1OFGODSOWN on YouTube and listen for yourself.I am not thin skinned and not afraid of the words some people post.They can be very cruel but they will answer for those words one day so they don’t bother me.I am very happy with the vocal skills that the Good Lord blessed me with and I’m not hiding from anyone on any group or anywhere.Never have & never will.Life is short so make the best of it & use the gifts the Good lord gave you before you are Dead & Gone.

Mike was on most radio related sites a few months ago. That's why his videos often delt with misconceptions of our hobby. He knew the players in the game and laughed at most of them. Nobody is trying to "tear the man down". That's just crazy talk.

There were a couple of Goobers on this forum (now on my ignore list) that were doing that very thing within the last year. Being as how I do not participate in any other Social(ism) Media, I am sure there are more Goobers out there!

Don't mean to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but there were and are dark forces out there that were actively trying to smear his good name.
Mike dared to make videos of himself repairing Stryker radios and they descended upon him with the wrath that only the followers of a cult led by a moron can muster.
I don't believe that is why he stopped making videos, as he always seemed to just laugh them off, but they were absolutely trying to sink his videos.

I don't know Mike never dealt with him. But I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that business has increased to the point he doesn't have the time to make videos?
