Does anyone have any personal experience with using a Powermax 12V supply?
I'm looking for a 100A supply and these are appealing.

Yes. Run one on my 2970N2. PM3-100LK.
You can call them and talk about the application. Those guys are knowledgeable.
I called, their recommendation was the PM3. Read how the switching operates and compare. There are some reviews I read concerning the difference, most compelling was one from a radio operator. He uses the PM3Looking at the PM4-100LK. Basically the same thing from what I understand as far as being run in "fixed output" mode.

I have no idea. Give them a call. Many applications for their power supply. They make Boondocker and some used for boats. Is there a lot of hash/dirt added with the PM4?
They carry the PM3. It didn't come up in generic search, had to be specific. Think it was a little more.I have the opportunity to buy a PM-4 via Amazon and would only have to shell out $100 out of pocket because of a gift card and it'd be here tomorrow (prime).
That's right, you got one too! Couldn't remember who.I run a pm3 on my 4 pill Xforce. Fixed output mode no problems at all. Only had the fan kick into high speed a few times. Otherwise fan very quiet.

Just picked up another PM3-100 for my back work bench. Amazon has them for $159.
