All this talk of fans blowing or sucking...........I am waiting for the typical porn music to start playing. The only way to go would be the OEM Texas Star fan kits.

The legendary Psycho responds ;-) read so many of your past posts with great interest and knowledge, cheers.
Back to the question, the two fans are blowing up into the heatsinks of the amp.
Blow'n or Suck'n… either way works.
At least that's what I told the truckstop "lot lizzard" last night!
Its scientifically proven blowing cools faster than sucking. Sit in front and in back of a box fan. What cools you most? Airflow is the key.
On another note when I buy fans that may wind up getting hot I shy away from the plastic fans and go with a metal case/blade fan. I find EBM Papst fans nos and used on Ebunk.

Wish they would make a nice one for the 350!
I don’t know dimensions for comparison, but wouldn’t a bracket and maybe some flashing allow a smaller amp to be fitted?
If there AIN’T some redneckery in evidence, can it be said to be CB?
.
Not trying to Thread jack, pretty sure the question has been answered, & excellent advice was given. Now seeing as how the thread is Texas Star cooling, has anyone tried a liquid cooling system? Pc's were/ still are cooled by fans, people are now using liquid cooling systems for some of the more serious gaming pc's. How well would that work for a TS used in a base station? Just as a thought...
...has anyone tried a liquid cooling system?
I'd be very surprised if it hasn't been tried in the keydown circles.
Key down circles wouldn't surprise me. Were my mobile amp lower, I'd seriously consider doing it myself, with the radiator located into one of the vents for the a.c. to blow past. Was thinking about it for base usage, one could plumb it into the mini fridge next to the desk & keep the amp cool. Might warm the beer a bit though...I'd be very surprised if it hasn't been tried in the keydown circles.
