Bub73, It sounds like you might have some carrier on your SSB signal. A quick way to check is to tune 1KC up (for LSB)and 1KC down (for USB), and see if you hear a tone. If you do than it is carrier on your SSB signal. You would then need to go into the rig and adjust the carrier balance to get...

Try wilsonantenna.com , the part you are looking for is called a mast. Just go to the parts page and find your antenna and you will see the part called "mast with set screw", that is what you need. hope this helps fasteddy </p>
