Also if you're going to use mobile rx/tx's you should reduce the power out-put of the tx radio because it's tx duty cycles where not rated for repeater use.

What doesn’t seem right to me is the variations in cost. If you get insurance on your own it cost X amount. If you get it at work on a group plan it's less. There's a girl at work that's getting a job with the state, and her premium is free ! It should be the same cost for everyone.
No problem, it could be the heat. We've had about 30 days of 100 or above and today is going to be the 10th day of 105 or above! I've recorded two 109's last week. But it's NOT global warming, it did this in 1999, 1990, 1980 etc......:biggrin:
I was driving to work today with the FT-1802 in the MEM scan mode and noticed that it would resume scanning while there was still a signal (that is a scanning option but I don't have that selected). I stopped the scanning on a 2m repeater to listen to the QSO in progress and all of a sudden it...
There are pro's and con's of 6M. One of the pro's is the antenna. The perfect dipole would be 4.6 ft per side. It's small size makes it easy to work with. Another pro is that you don't need much power for E or F skip, 10 watts will do unless your tring to break some world record or something...

To many radio hobbyist put to much into on what their "meter" is doing. That usually leads to having the mic gain up to high so they can watch the meter move way over to the right while...
