You are right. SSB is a mess from .365-.405. I did hear one station from Western KY this morning on .385. Then some arsewipe started playing music.

It must be sad to be so socially dysfunctional as to be unable to have a conversation on a radio that took a fair amount of effort and money to set up. Is the music and all the other nonsense a case of "I'm miserable so I want you to be miserable too" ? Hard to understand.

NC and SC were blowing the paper out of my speaker this morning. I called to WDX556 a number of times but I reckon you weren't on Ralph. I'll keep trying. One of these days........
I did however talk to forum member 455monte in South Carolina. He was 5x9+ and sounding great. I believe it was first time forum member contacts for both of us, I know it was mine. Good stuff.

AM-19 easier to live with today. No Skip to speak of from southern Virginia and down past Chattanooga towards IH20.

The problem we have here in Phoenix is the 2 degenerate criminal losers Chris Sweeney AE5QJ, aka Delta Tango 306, aka Sheriff Bob and his former convicted felon druggie Matt Bohl W7ZFG, aka W979. These 2 trash 38LSB, jam, play music, noise makers, etc. and cuss people out on a daily basis.Neither has jobs and are on the radio usually all day.Both run 1KW on 38lsb and are just nothing short of pure radio trash !
That sucks that you have to deal with the lowlifes. Time to QSY. Lots of other places you can go when things get stupid.

Never understood the music etc on SSB.
They have 120 channels at a minimum to choose from. Yet they bring that to 38 lower....
The point is to get as much attention as possible. Positive or negative, doesn't matter. As long as someone is at least talking about them, if not to them, they've accomplished what they set out to do, making themselves the center of attention.
If I were a psychologist I'd say it's probably due to unresolved daddy issues. But I'm not a psychologist, so I'll just say they're jerks.
The music and noise toys were on 38lsb earlier so i left and went to 555 South America rolling good.
