11 meter is very quiet?

Sounds like the bottom of the solar cycle here today. Absolutely completely totally utterly dead! 400 channels of hissssssssssssssssss............
No point in being on the radio today LOL!View attachment 72285
Don't feel alone it's like that on the other side of the continent also this morning, no action. I took a ride late morning up and down the hills and only found minimum activity. Almost like a preview to summer change but I hope not because we all have been spoiled. LOL

I haven't been on the radio too much this week due to work and getting over a viral infection+ my 86 yr old Dad has been battling a really bad cold, etc .......as I remember correctly (I could be wrong however) this happened last spring and summer where the radio activity on 11meters really died off and didn't really return back to full strength if I may use the word until the early to late fall months, etc....i know that there has also been some solar storms flaring up also ..........

Just ahead of 7 PM was upstairs next to radio room to close window drapes to conserve heat overnight so turned on the old Cobra 2000 and low & behold here was Saskatchewan Canada bombing in like out in my driveway. I heard them yesterday with my Grandson as I was showing him the process of DX. That's different for that area 2 days in a row. I remember banging into there with my GE SuperBase one time shortly after I got it.

I will not be there but hopefully by the end of this month I will have my New tower and antennas back in the air including my M2 6M5X. The old tower and all of my antennas came down in October 2023 during a Hurricane.
