Also the furor over personal access to assault weapons is still less than the military you would be going against. The civilian populace would only amount to target practice for the armed forces of the US. Untrained and undisciplined targets.

Given that the current enlisted ranks ARE NOT what anyone would want (with individual exceptions) as the general forces are now a welfare scam (SF something else), it comes down to WHO will kill fellow Americans (which begs the question of whether paperwork “Americans” see us as their fellows. Ha!).

This present state is by plan. The officer class is long gone. Not an accident. In a general war it will be collapse from within.

The ONLY domestic advantage would be the Govt forces being able to call in artillery & air. Again, only if it’s answered. Thus 5G & it’s 20,000 orbiting satellites as complete substitute.

Burning the Cathedral of Notre Dame should leave no one in doubt it’s The Last Trumpet. 1,000-years of Gods glory. Every stone and every note of music the architecture of Holy Spirit.

What happens when the orders are given is still up to the individual holding the weapons. In the oath above who is deciding who is the enemy? You can bet it is in the chain of command of the military. From the president down to the guy with his finger on the trigger. The person with the finger on the trigger is not privy to the information or the meeting in which policy is decided and must rely on personal beliefs.

It was preached to us that we were obligated to NOT follow an illegal order. The issue is in determining what constitutes an illegal order. Without all of the pertinent information, it can be difficult at times.

I disagree with some of the commentary by Slowmover. I am dismayed that a lot of our military and it's veterans are more or less compared to street thugs. All people who served in the military are a cut above most of the civilians. We/they give up years of our lives to keep the United States safe from aggression regardless of the origin of the threat. I was personally treated like criminal because of my service. Released from active duty in 1974 with an HONORABLE DISCHARGE the economy was in the toilet, and even companies that were doing Govt' contracts would not touch veterans from that era thanks to the Mi Lai massacre. Even though I never set foot on Viet Namese soil I had to deal with that baggage. I never carried a weapon except while on watch and never fired it. I was hot stuff in the technical field and my primary weapons were the PSM-4 and the Simpson 260.
While I disagree with what was said, I did defend the right for them to say it.
Free speech does not guarantee a sympathetic audience and it is not free. It is paid for with lives and blood.

Since my friends, we are being philosophical this Wednesday morning, I too would like to add one which has stood with me for years. Some will scream blasphemy or debauchery, so be it. But God understands me. The first is quoted from the Bible, the later part makes one think.

Somewhere between Slowmover's and Tallman's posts the above came back to haunt me, again. It stands on moral grounds, judgments of man, ones own beliefs. The underlying note seems to be ones own ability to either make the sacrifice or take out the garbage. I will take out the garbage until the rats overrun my AO.

I understand what you are saying. I too have seen too much. The answer to are you condemned the answer is no. At one point in time I had no time or desire to follow a God that let certain things happen. I was angry. Once I really analyzed the situations God had nothing to do with it. It was a person executing his "FREE WILL" and will pay for it.

Exactly.....and applicable on both sides of the coin. That is where moral fiber between right and wrong need to be taught. Ability to think empowered. Consequences realized.

We have the best country in the world, there are those who wish to destroy it for their own prosperity under the guise of "Saving us from ourselves". Not one Nanny State has ever been successful.

If you look at the implosion on the left, they realize they cannot win, and therefore continue to burn the rue trying to change the rules. Electoral vote. 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 10th Amendments are all under the lefts assault. Liberal left media controlled propaganda, Hollywood elites fearing free thinkers, Congressional leaders lacking moral or testicle fortitude. Colleges and Public Schools no longer teach Civics, actual American History, or Correct World History......it's all been liberally changed to benefit socialism. Even moral ideas have been systemically altered.

With each and every assault on my morals and US Constitution it brings me closer to the reality. Pivotal it seems.

In the past 10-15/yrs years the Armed Forces is changed past your belief. Desert Storm is so long ago it has the same relevance as Korea to today.

We’re “at war” in 14-countries at present. 90% of Africa. Special Forces is now the military. Totally untouchable. Answers to no one.

As to Whom: That the finest American military man in history — a shining example of honor — is publicly-degraded with lies, calumny and shame the past couple of years . . . and all of our so-called heroic veterans did nothing more than belch and grab another cheap beer, well, it’s ALL anyone needs to know about the depth of American courage & sacrifice these days. Belief in God-given Rights = Non-Existent. EVERY. DAMNED. ONE. OF. THEM.

I ain’t trying to rattle your cage, but to make a point:
